Chewing Pencils

Thanks for all the emails and messages asking where I’ve disappeared to over the last few weeks! Be assured that I’m alive and well and the drawing career is progressing nicely.

I’m currently on six weeks leave from my ‘day job’ and so have taken the opportunity to do lots of family stuff. Tomorrow we head off to the beach for a week and I’m not taking the laptop with me! Bliss!

When I get back, Chewing Pencils will resume helping you to make a few bucks from your drawing. Here’s what’s planned so far:

1. The return of the Friday Feature Artist. If you haven’t been part of this yet, let me know and I’ll send you the stuff.

2. I’ve just finished reviewing the prize for the next Cartoon Drawing Project. The project, prize and judge will be announced in the next few weeks, but to give you a little teaser, let’s just say that one of our very own Chewing Pencils readers will feature prominently…

3. We will revisit the top ten tips (plus the eleventh) and update them with some of the latest information on the business.

4. And whatever else I can think of…
