It's interesting the different customs surrounding Christmas! In fact all in my family have studied German (except my daughter who is much better at Spanish than we are at German)! My dad's side of the family lived in the Black Forrest region, once upon a time (1800s). Still have some distant cousins roaming around there. Merry Christmas!
