Does anybody know how to get a mid-stream urine sample from a two year old that isn’t yet toilet trained?!
I can see a few golden showers coming my way. And a few great cartoon ideas…

I know. I know. But this is the reality of my life…
Hey, I’ve been there, it isn’t easy. Oh wait, yes it was! Is it a two-year-old boy or girl? For my son we just gave him a bottle of juice, waited 15 minutes to a 1/2 hour, then asked him to pee in the glass! We held it under his woo-woo, and he went like a champ!
So probably the best way is to give them a LOT of juice to drink, take off their diaper and let them run around a bit. Will they possibly pee on the floor? Definitely yes. However, that’s what a good wet/dry vac and rug cleaner are for. Just keep a close eye on them! Have the container handy and be ready to rush!
You need copious amounts of beer, a running water feature, some rubber gloves, and a mop and bucket.

Lack of pants usually does it at our house. You’ll just have to catch him before ALL of it gets on the floor.
And Matt - the lack of pants is on your son…not you. HA!
So…did it work?
It’s usually easier with boys as you just “point and go”.
Well, we gave up.
