I got an email from these guys today and just took a bit of a browse through the site. There’s some great stuff there and some good competitions that would be worth entering if you have the time.
At the moment, the team are looking for artists to submit some work for the ‘daily cartoon’ section. Here’s what they had to say:

We believe that you have already noticed the improvements and upgrading being made in our website, at

We call to all interested artists to send 1 - 5 pieces with free theme topic of their work to be posted at our Daily Cartoon section. The works must be sent electronically on 150 dpi (96 dpi minimum) resolution to info@greekartoon.gr or daily_cartoon@greekartoon.gr , with subject DAILY CARTOON. Also a name and surname and a short C.V. must be included.
We would like to clearly state that the works will solely be used for the above-mentioned purpose, as part of GREEKARTOON’s founding principle that is to promote the artists as well as the art of cartoon and caricature making.

Hey, nice one Matt. I know this went straight to my Junk file because I saw the name, briefly. If you hadn’t put the link up I’d never have looked at the site. You’re a little star.
I keep meaning to enter these competitions and I only remembered to do it once, in 198…something when I entered the Yomuri Shimbaun contest.
