Easter Drawing Project - The Fifth Bunch (plus an extension)
Published by Matt Glover March 22nd, 2007 in Group Projects
The cartoons entered into the Easter Drawing Project so far have all been excellent, and it seems they have stimulated the creative juices in a number of other Chewing Pencils readers.
I’ve received a few emails asking if there can be an extension, so the deadline for submissions is now Sunday 25th March. Use the time wisely and get your cartoon in asap!
And start thinking about which cartoons are YOUR favourite. We’ll be having a ‘peoples choice’ award (for nothing but the glory) next week where anybody can vote for their top three cartoons. Will the winner picked by Justin be the same as that picked by the people? We’ll see…
Anyway, here are the latest bunch of entries:
Raymond Nakamura from Howdy Doodling submitted Jesus with some Cake
Bee Mackey from Art to Make You Laugh submitted some Easter Buns to Die For
Alan Wright submitted a Bunny in a Pot
John T submitted an Easter Rabbi
Don’t forget, there’s an extra three days! Go for it!

I can’t help but wonder whether or not John T’s cartoon was inspired by me… Since I made the comment about Passover, and, well, my name is Greg.
hehe. Probably…
I think we’ll make you the subject of ALL the cartoons for the next project.
