Chewing Pencils

An unexpected area of interest a few months ago was this post on ‘monetizing’ your website. Basically I shared some of the things I had learnt about generating a secondary income through my website by using the different forms of advertising you see scattered around Chewing Pencils.

I’m still a learner when it comes to this side of internet business, so have trouble answering the really hard questions on this topic. Fortunately a friend of mine is one of the Net experts in the field and I rip off his ideas all the time!

It’s not scrictly cartoon related, but Darren Rowse’s ProBlogger has heaps of information about how to earn money from your blog/website - much of which you can use to establish another revenue stream for your work.

When you get a chance, make sure you visit ProBlogger and incorporate some of Darren’s wisdom into your own site.
