Quick Tip: Resolution
Published by Matt Glover November 29th, 2006 in Quick TipsWhen you’re converting your images for web display, remember to reduce the resolution down to 72dpi (dots per inch). This is the maximum resolution that screens display - anything greater makes your files unnecessarily large, increases down load time and makes your work look ‘jaggy’.
To change the resolution of your work, look for an option called ‘resample’ in your software.

In Photoshop, just right-click the top of the image window and click “Image Size.” There will be an option for changing dpi.
this is just one thing i didn’t know… thanks!
