Stanley Award Winners 2006

Here’s who got what:

The Australian Cartoonists’ Association Cartoonist Awards
Melbourne’s Herald Sun’s Mark Knight has been named The Age Cartoonist Of The Year, 2006 in the 22nd annual Stan Cross Awards ceremony hosted by Rod Quantock in Ballarat last Saturday night. Knight also won the Sydney Morning Herald Editorial/Political Cartoonist Stanley. At the same time Australian international cartooning icon Paul Rigby has been presented with the prestigious Jim Russell Award for a lifetime of contribution to cartooning. Details will be in the next issue of Inkspot.
