Quick Tip: Cut the chords!
Published by Matt Glover August 25th, 2006 in Quick TipsIf space is at a premium for you, and your drawing desk also functions as your computer desk, sewing desk or whatever other desk, you’ll find that the tangle of chords hanging over the back quickly become a nuisance. They restrict the movement of your computer ‘bits’, take up extra room and generally look ugly.
Fortunately, wireless technology is becoming relatively cheap, and things like your mouse and keyboard can be converted to wireless varieties for less than $80.
So, if you’re using a wireless keyboard and need to move it so you can use the space for something else, you can simply pick it up and place it somewhere on the other side of the room. There are no wires to tie you down or cramp your style!
